IMSU Expel 60 Students with less than 1.00 CGPA

No fewer than 60 students of the Imo State University,IMSU, Owerri, including some in their final year who made below 1.00 cumulative grade points average have been expelled from the institution, while students who made above 1.00 but fell below 1.5 grade points for the 2011/2012 session were reportedly asked to repeat a session.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2013 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. The board, however, withheld 12,110 results for possible disciplinary action. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, announced this at a news conference on the release of the results in Bwari, FCT, on Friday.
