RE: COMMITTEE ON OVERSTAYED STUDENTS IN THE UNIVERISITY OF NIGERIA.

The University of Nigeria Senate at its 373rd meeting held on February 26, 2014 considered submission by the University Administration on overstayed students and granted reprieve on all cases of overstay for the on-going 2013/2014 academic session. In so doing, Senate decided to set up an Ad-Hoc Committee to work out the modalities/conditions for the implementation of the new dispensation.

The University of Nigeria advertises to the general public, her Postgraduate Programmes for the 2014/2015 academic year. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into full-time, part-time and sandwich postgraduate programmes in various Faculties, Institutes and Centres for the 2014/2015 academic year. Candidates on full-time employment are not eligible to apply for full-time studies. The available higher degree and postgraduate diploma programmes are indicated below.

Former Nigerian warlord, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, will on Saturday receive a posthumous honorary doctorate degree in law from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

UNN 2014-2015 PostGraduate Admission Application Form

The 2014-2015 Application for Postgraduate Admission in the University of Nigeria has commenced fully. The application fee is a non-refundable payment of N20,000 and the mode of payment is via e-tranzact which can be made in any bank that accept e-tranzact payment nationwide. The deadline for the application is 20th April, 2014 . All transcripts should reach the school of post graduate studies on or before 20th April, 2014. Information on the screnning exercise should be on the University website www.unn.edu.ng from 1st May,2014
