FG appoints two new Pro-Chancellors for two Federal Universities
The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Alhaji Yerima Abdulahi as the Pro Chancellor/Chairman of the Governing Council of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He replaces Prof. Ango Abdulahi.
In a related development, the Federal Government also approved the appointment of Mr Emmanuel Chukwuka Ukala (SAN) as the Pro-Chancellor/Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He replaces Dr Emeka Enejere.
The Supervising Minister of Education, Chief (Barr.) Ezenwo Nyesom Wike who made the announcement on Thursday, said that the appointments take immediate effect.
