The youths condemned the alleged attempt by Boko Haram to bomb the university, the sole economic empowerment of  Enugu North Senatorial Zone as the first and only Federal Government education industry in the area.

President-General, Nsukka Youth Association, Mr. Attama Chidokwe, disclosed this during  inauguration of new executives of the association at Maduka Onyishi Civic Centre, Nsukka.
Chidokwe vowed that the youths of Nsukka will resist every threat and attempt to bomb the university by members of the Boko Haram.
He said:   “We are aware of the recent threat of the Boko Haram sect to attack Enugu State prison commands and free their detained members;they cannot have their way in nsuklka prisons.”
The president warned those allegedly sponsoring Boko Haram to desist from such trade as they were sowing seeds of discord, which is not in the interest of a united Nigeria.
Chidokwe stressed that youths would liaise with the university authorities to assist the police and the institution’s security for efficient and effective security for the university.
